Chauffeur Services are not for everyone!

Chauffeur services can be expensive and may not be a feasible option for everyone. They are typically used by people or businessess who need transportation for special events, business meetings, or for those who want a more luxurious mode of transportation. Additionally, chauffeur services may not be available in all areas or for all types of vehicles. It's always a good idea to research and compare services as prices can vary wildly! Things to look out for are:

1) Always book through a licensed company, not a person! A registered and preferably a VAT registered company. Blackwing is licensed by the only authority in London - TfL.

2) Age of vehicles. Blackwing operators a fleet of vehicles, with an average age of 2 years, all are under the age of 4 years and all are of course fully licensed and insured, MoT'd etc.

3) Read fully the company's T's & C's. Sounds like an obvious one, but some companies do not present a copy and fall back on an old trick that you are assumed to have accepted the T's & C's if you accept a ride from them! Nothing can replace good old fashioned written T's & C's.

4) English speaking chauffeurs are a must for any luxury chauffeur company operating in the capital of an English speaking country!

At Blackwing, we often find ourselves trying to convince a company that they do not require the services of a chauffeur company. For the sole reason, that if all they require is a quick and efficient means of transport to the airport, then there really is no better way then a train!
