Why did we become ISO Certified? To give you total reassurance
Our path towards ISO certification was a difficult one. We had to analyse each process within the business and bring them up to an internationally recognised standard. For example, we now have procedures in place to cover major issues such as a data breach. We also have documented policies stating our environmental policy, commitment to customer and staff safety.
We did all this and over 70 other new and updated policies were introduced. We were already delivering a professional service on the road. We now deliver it from a professionally run office that you can rely on.
We felt that taking the route most other companies have taken - entering competitions run by various associations and winning awards, was not for us. Even though we have been operating for over 15 years, we hadn’t heard of these associations, apart from being connected to handing out awards. So, expecting a client to know who they were, was also absurd.
The ISO Standard however, is an internationally recognised certification. Some of the corporations we work with, are themselves, ISO certified. This made better sense to us, and indeed, we had been thinking about it for some years.
The ISO Standard is a requirement of many large corporations and we have been asked to provide evidence of our certification by several clients - which we are happy to do. This is an annual certification, which we’ll be under process every November. We work hard to ensure we run a professional company.
